Frank Stewart at Brandywine Museum of Art

I had an amazing time viewing the immersive work of photographer Frank Stewart at the Brandywine Museum of Art. Stewart’s photographic journey begin at the age of 14 using his mom’s camera to document the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. From there, a seed was planted and Stewart has traveled the world documenting various countries with an investigative interest on the food, culture, music and environment of each place he visited. Bravo to the Brandywine Museum for being the host of such an expansive archive of imagery!

This gorgeous museum sits on the bank of the Brandywine Creek in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. The floor to ceiling windows make way for natural light to pour in and the lush vegetation serves as a serene backdrop for art viewing! The Brandywine Museum should definitely be on your list of places to visit if you’re ever in Pennsylvania!
